New site theme

Please let me know if you discover any problems with the new site theme.  I'm not a very artistic type either so help on icons and colors would be much appreciated.

rofl Nat....check the forum error log in the admin section.    I think something isn't quite right  ...I'll try to look at it in more detail tomorrow when I get home from work.

ok I reinstalled the orig theme that I modified.. it doesn't seem to have the same errors.  95% of what I did was graphics stuff so it shoulding be hard to narrow down, even redo in steps.

looks like it's not generating errors on the forum log now...but there's still error on the page in web browser.

btw, if there are any icons you definitely don't like or think you wanna change just let me know which ones & I can probably come up with something...I really like the overall look now lol

Here is that pic of Tere I mentioned. Unfortunately it has him selected by the mouse so his name and lifebar are all over it.



Here is a possible page-topping bannerpic, taken from this and doctored up a bit. I didn't adjust for size, but I imagine a blend from this into possibly another action or social image, or fade to bg color.



(Oh, forgfot to trim the white space off of the right hand end of this image - oops. Can simply be cut off as required).

Currently looking into SMF theme creation - unfortunately the link to their main guide is broken, but can prolly figure it out from other skins which i have downloaded. Installing SMF on my own apache server, but naturally some damn php config setting is wrong, and... and... oh dear computers -  who invented the darn things? Prolly not fair to blame Babbage or Turing.

PS I think it's cute to get a bit of Angel and an ML-35 into our forum graphics (without even cheating!) even if 'old regime' armor style.

Wow, that was fast natty!

Now I see I missed the little blue highlight indicator 2/3s along the top of the gun barrel. I could remove that if u want, or leave it as is.

I think we could combine this image with another 1 (or 2), with the right hand edge of the image fading into black or dark color and the same BGColor taking over from there, somewhere around the search box, allowing felxible width.

But it looks good.
