a soc can only have hold of 1 LA at a time!

i was thinking that if there are to many mm members to kill they will get killed first. all OJs can help! if we have a bunch of newbs standing around, there will be so many to kill that the invaders will get killed first...

Depends on equipment too...even if we have 50 members shooting, if we're only doing 1 dmg per shot against someone's plated Eon, and the person being shot at has a mod fap and there's another guy right behind him with a terminator...there's still not much of a chance really

(in response to:)
Only way to beat a uber soc... is to storm them with all 200 soc members at once...)
nope, it wont work, becouse in 2005 during LandGrab... Poland attacked Warants...noone of them get closer than 100m, I had alot of laugh @ them when I was at my friend's hause and he was supporting Warants
But... I just got home from class & got a chance to read the rules...some rules of the land grab have changed since the last one, and some of those changes may be to our benefit...even if only slightly so.
It also depends on if they break it up like they did the last time too....if anyone remembers there were 2 separate rounds altogether for the last land grab. They only opened up half of the available land areas for the first round, then the other half for the second round, which meant fewer land areas to compete for at once...and an easier opportunity for some of the societies to grab up an extra land area or two.
The preliminary rules and regulations of the land grab:
1. Any designated land grab area can be claimed by any functioning, non-pending, society. (Note that it takes seven days go get a society into a qualified state).
Check.
2. Any person within a society can claim a piece of land in the name of the whole society. The land is claimed by finding a 'claim stake' for a certain piece of land. Click on the stake and follow the instructions presented.
may be beneficial to send out individuals to separate land areas as scouts to see which lands are open & which ones, if any, we may have a fighting chance at claiming.
3. The land has to be successfully defended for four consecutive hours before the ownership of the land is turned over to the society.
and if the claim is lost before the four hours is up...the counter starts over again. These battles can take hours upon hours, possibly lasting over 24 hours.
4. Defence of the land is achieved in the following manner: At least one member of the society will have to be alive and present within a radius of 30 meters from the claim stake at all times from when the land is claimed until the full time period has elapsed. If all Society members have exited the radius, the stake will emit a warning signal (sound and light) for a limited period of time. This is a short grace period of app. 30 seconds, during which any living society member has to get inside the radius; else the claim for the land will be lost. This enables another society, or the same society for that matter, to take new ownership of the land claiming process.
I believe this is a bit different from the last time. If I remember right, the land markers only had to be clicked to claim them. I remember a dispute over one soc using auto-clickers set to click at an interval of one-tenth of a second so that nobody else could click the land marker.
5. Anyone killed within a certain range from the claim stake during the land grab will be out of commission for one minute before the revival process is initiated. The only way to speed this process is to be resurrected using MindForce.
Ouch. Whatever you do, don't die. Grace period is 30 seconds, revival time is one minute, not counting time to run/tp back.
6. A single society may only have one piece of land within a claiming process at a time.
So if they open all the land areas at once, and the battles for the most-wanted lands last for a long time, then that opens up opportunities for more societies to fight for land.
The current rules are pending and are subject to change

I give it a week before they start changing the rules
