I globalled twice in the first 10 mins
The NVidia 9800 GT seems to work ok. Here are some shots. Nothing remarkable for those already with good graphics, but it was a small thrill for me.

New details include texture to my blond hair flakes, and mildly unflattering extra facial detail around the eyes.
Some armor gleam:
Not much apart from avatar appearance has changed with the new card. Clothes have more texture, and sometimes gleam a little. It's generally pleasing, and I hope it's good eough for CryEngine 2. There are all kinds of settings, like shader clock speed etc that I can adjust. Not really sure about all that yet.
For once in my life I exceed the optimal system requirements on something.
