Couldn't log into EU so I decided to play around with a song that I started writing a long time ago but never did anything with. Here's the result...unless I get bored again and decide to play with it some more. (BTW, I didn't create the visuals, I just added them because a video on Youtube with no visual is kinda boring.)

This one is titled Anticlimatic.

Nice!  I like it.  There's a lot of talent in the MM (even if we're not in the top 50.)

I'll try to get a music myspace thing together and put up a link.

That was pretty badass, Ice.  My wife, who I guess prides herself on her musical ear from her early experience with blah blah blah... anywho - my wife was appreciative,  too.

I'm curious - you said you wrote it a while back... was it synthesized using some computer program?  I'm wondering what process it went through to be gracing our ears.  And I was wondering if there might be some mp3 format of the song that I could listen to on my machine.

Yes I may be able to upload it in MP3 format here if you'd like. And, I had started writing the song years ago on my guitar, probably when I was about 18 or 19 years old, but have always had too much interest in other things or was "too busy" to really do anything with it or finish it off. To bring it to life in the digital world, I had to transfer it note by note (by hand) to virtual midi instruments, and string it all together. It took a little more than a day to transfer the notes from my guitar to my computer and figure out which other instruments I wanted to add into the mix and then write the parts for those, and then probably about 12 more hours of tweaking it to get it to sound the way I wanted it to sound.  Grin  I'll see what I can do about getting it uploaded.

Oh, and yeah...I haven't been online at all this week since Monday; it has been crazy busy at work and I think it was wednesday...maybe thursday (i don't really remember now...) I ended up working a 16 hour shift.

Hmmm...may be a lil too large to upload as an attachment on the forum; if anyone wants it via e-mail though the MP3 version is 5.25MB, and the WMA version is 6.60MB. Just PM me your e-mail address and I can send it to you.

I finally got to listen to this, today. I like it.  Clap

Gotta ask who starts with the cello? I hack it the cello a tiny bit and really like the beginning.
