Possible beginnings of my contest video entry

thanks to ice for helping me out today - kinda embarrised to upload this as its completely WORK IN PROGRESS
most of it is subject to change.. just threw it together this evening.. but any ideas / criticizms would be great

edit: the qualitys crappy too.. but just for this test version.. the real thing will be better quality.. i hope :P

Looks nice so far! The shots of the coming cryengine look good in this video. I would perhaps cut that argo scene a little shorter (maybe cut off the beginning of it a bit) and toss in a couple more shots of killing other mobs or maybe a shot of a team hunt.

Just a couple of ideas, dunno if you wanna use them:


- avatar running and a mining bomb exploding behind
- rocket launcher death
- oil rig fight
- party scene complete with dancing and drinking (champaign bottles)
- some of the EU fashion & armors
- mob train scene



pretty places:
- the lake by Sakura
- shinook
- oshiri
- the snowy tps
- the mountains e/se of argus or sw of caravan
- new oxford



Will be interesting to see how it all comes out when it's done. I've seen some of the other entries already and I already like this one better so far. The other ones either used too much previously recorded content or no new (cryengine) content at all, or were just a little too bland with too many shots of people doing nothing.
