Good luck Sal! You're making progress faster than me, I've only put together the shopping list thus far.

Well, I did manage to buy some RAM, which allowed me to at least log in successfully and patter about a bit, but it's still not really playable at this point... and cases I have plenty of, so I suppose I just need a new mainboard, CPU, PSU, and gfx card... and while I'm at it I might as well go with a new hdd.

One day, the militia will thrive again! For now, I suppose we'll just be the poor bastards trying to scrape up some components to craft a functional computer... if I HOF on mine I'll send you the residue so you can use it for yours, Sal.  lol

Got my annual bonus this past Friday.  Tax return is coming in this Friday.  I think I'll sell a quarter's worth of company stock....  It's almost time... I can almost taste it.  Maybe by the time I can make it back in, the loot pool will refill after Ram's HOF.  :P

Just bought the motherboard.  I'm paying off a couple grand from my credit card, which I will then use to buy the rest of the components (let's hear it for cash back!).  I figure I'll have all the parts within a couple weeks, and I plan on putting it all together April 9th.  With a little luck, I'll be signing in once again for the first time in months sometime in mid April.

They finally got my card in stock, and it's on its way.  T minus 9 days before I put it all together.

Yeah... Easter Monday here would be what we here call "The Work Day After Easter When You're Wishing You Hadn't Eaten All That Easter Candy".
