Take a moment to say hi and introduce yourself to your society mates! Tell us what your interests are, how you found EU, or whatever you'd like to tell us about yourself that might help us to get to know you better.  Smile  Now who will go first?.... Way to go

Hello All,
Hi my names Tere, im a recovering Hofaholic, I'm having trouble staying on the rails tho as you may have seen recently concerning some lysterium (i am very sorry for this it wont happen again). I attend weekly counciling.

My interests include Agatha Christie novels, train serial numbers and am a keen ornathologist. My favourite place would be crouched in my back garden hidden by leaves and twigs in full combat gear holding a steamed up pair of binoculars and a cold cup of tea.

Hope to see you all soon!

Sup all,
My name is Bo and i am not sure what(aholic) i am.  I just started this game and love it. I actually stayed up till 3 this morning playing, got 3 hours of sleep and had to come to work(damn im tired).   I came from World of Warcraft and EQ prior to that.  Im glad that one day i was asking around to group i found Nat, ever since i came in the Soc i have recieved alot of very helpfull information and had alot of fun with all of you.  i am definately going to stick with this game for a while.

Things i like to do: Spend time with my girls when i have them on the weekends, Read Terry Brooks novels, build computers and break them for fun, Spend time in the garden trying to grow anything hot I can make salsa with, working on building my network and website back up for the public and private for downloads, and working on my 06 Acura RSX to drift with.

Well thats about it for me.

Hi all!  I'm Natty Lars in game.  My favorite activity in Entropia is getting swirlies of all types.  I have recently been given a mission to infiltrate Port Atlantis and "sweat camp" and carefully select the best of the best for the next generation of Michigan Militia Cadets.  I am pleased to report that the mission is going well and we have already achieved a measure of success.  I look forward to the training phase that follows this recruitment push.  AK47's for everyone!!! Or at least Opallos!!

Howdy,
I've been playing this game for over 18 months now I think. I play it in spurts, since I work full time and also go to college full time, and completed my mentoring awhile back. I've been looking for a society that likes to hunt the harder critters... I've hunted with other groups but I can only waste so much ammo on lesser critters before I get bored. I have been soloing the miner bots and drones on TI and love the challange of taking on Gen 7 miners. I would like to group up and take on some Globsters and Second Entity to see what they will drop for us. When I team up I like to set the looting to "Que" so that everyone gets a fair share (ask Amorae and Henry Garrett). I feel if you are teamed up you are contributing to the cause, be it healing or support fire, you should receive an equal share. Like I said before, I've played this game off and on for over 18 months now. I have my favorite hunting spots for Drones, Warriors, Trax, Trox. I've averaged 1 - 2 Globals a night lately (6 hrs of play) and had four globals in 2 hrs a week ago hunting drone east of JS.

In the real world I work for Computer Science Corp (CSC) as a Financial Systems Administrator conctracted to the US Air Force. As a matter of fact my office is right down the hall from my old office that I occupied before retiring from the USAF in 2002. I'm married with 5 kids, two of which are also in college as well is my wife as full time students.

Lets get together and do some kill'n and loot'n!!!!

Hello all, My name is Szek,

And I am a real Noob, I consider myself extremely lucky, Within a couple days of playing I met Tink, Actually she met me, and Wow, the world of EU opened up, Honestly I would have probably been bored by now, as I am not much of a Multi Player type of person. But Tink, Wudi, Cass are really the best in what I would associate with in RL, so I was impressed.  So my eternal Kudos to those three.  And when I think all was good, This Natty and ByteMe took it steps beyond what I thought previous, As a true Noob, If you ever get a chance to TP with those two, DO IT!  Absolutely Great Fun  - Absolutely Great People.

I would, and Do recommend this Society.

And yes I STILL WANT THAT FREE OIL!!!! GRRRRR

Hello all,

My name is Nahash. I've been in the soc almost since I started playing Entropia...not to say that is a long time. I don't think it's been even 3 months yet, but I joined a week or so into my Entropia experience. Natty was running through PA's sweat camp and asking if anyone wanted to join in on a TP run. I'd read about them in the Entropia Wiki, so I figured I'd join in. We ran around for a while, gathered a few TPs, and afterward, Natty invited me to the group. I must say, my experience in Michigan Militia Cadets has been nothing short of amazing. The group is wonderful, understanding, helpful, and humerous. I can't begin to count the times I've just stood in one of the cities talking to the soc and laughing. Anyway, I digress. I'm mainly a miner/hunter in EU. I'm still considering myself somewhat of a noob, but I'm learning more each day. I'm normally on at least once every other day, unless circumstances prevent me (usually work or college interfering). I've met most of the members of MMC, but anyone who wants to just drop by and say hi, feel free. Not much more to say :P

I'm Ronaldo Monk Coltrane in the game.  I'm mostly a miner, but lately I've been on a hunting kick, going after things way too big for me...  The loots haven't been that great, but it's a pretty good time.  I started playing in January 07, and joined The Knights of Calypso, which expanded and expanded to the point where I sort of felt like a stranger in my own soc.  So I went Freelancer for a while, and then I met Lance, and Ice and they let me into the MM family, and it's been great!  I'm a musician in real life, and I'm married with 2 cats and a tarantula.  If any cadets ever want to do a tp run or need some assistance getting out of a sticky outpost, send me a pm.

Heyas Jerot Nutta Rhade in game

Found EU on one those trashy MMO fan sites where all folks are expert in whining about how games do not meet their me me me NOW! personalities.

Been playing a couple weeks now and already blown my initial deposit.  Found MMC when Natty breezed though Port Atlantis Swamp outpost.  You can find me sweating snablesnot and exarosaur around Atlas Haven most days.

43 years young with no intention of growing up.  Personal slave to two cats.  Earn my playing funds as a Business Systems Analyst for a packaged foods manufacturer.

Hi Nutta,
I notice you say you're using the Justifier MKII, which could very well be a bad move in this new L age.

Basicly it has been tried, tested and proved that up until a proffessional lvl of around 72 non L weopens are quite literally ped drainers unless lots of luck is involved. Even with the % markup your paying on the L weopens its still more economical to use these than a non L .

At first you may not notice much difference, depending on the length of your hunts, but over the long term the economical difference can be big. For instance I have been playing on the same 1k ped now for 6 weeks, hunting until its all gone then auctioning every single looted item back, rinsing and repeating. 1k ped is one evenings worth of hunting for me by the way, and that will give me 60-90,000 rounds a night to shoot and pay for all decay, looted items put on auction even if im only making 50 pec on a 100ped deal. And when i log in next day, i have my 1k ped back to repeat the process. Sometimes im a bit up, other times a bit down.

Its been 6 weeks now since my last deposit and as above, im shooting 60-90k rounds a night. Another option would be to deposit a big amount and buy a Unlimited version of an L gun, which is what I have done, and what i consider to be the very best way of becoming eco. That way you dont pay the crafter or looter his markup , because your repairing the thing at tt and not buying a new one. Of course, this isnt for everyone, as some just dont have the money required, or dont want to drop that much into a mmorpg, which is cool and quite understandable.

I wouldnt use the justy if I were a new starter, not with the options available. The opallo is still the best way to get your first few levels and then probably move up to the breer series once the opallo is maxed.

Try to hunt smart. If you miss a shot, move your avi before firing again. Use a finisher if the main weopen is over kill, watch out for that extra shot on the kill when its not needed - dont fire ammo into thin air. It all adds up, maybe just a ped a hunt but times that by 2 weeks worth of hunts and that could be the difference between having to deposit or not, pick a mob you feel comfortable with, not too strong, not too small. Thats going to be difficult when your new, i know ive been there. but time will help. Keep skilling.

And last but definately not least - remember  - when your hunting, your average loots are based on your economy against the other hunters in the area. So, if your 25% less efficient than that other guy over there, he will be 25% better off than you in his loot returns. And that pretty much is based on your HA & CHA of the weopen your using. Its quite logical to explain, if i deposit 50, and you deposit 50, ma take their share, say 30 for argument sake, so that leaves 70 left in the pot to be split back between u and I. If im 100% more efficient than you, my share back will be 100% more than you.

Anyway, nothing is guarenteed, but the above is the culmination of many minds, its not my theory but rather those of others that have for the best part been proved as fact.

Good luck in whatever you do, and may the HOF be with you,

Tere

Hi, y'all.

I'm Navada Lynn Ducrot in the game.  A 25 year old from Louisiana, USA. 100% Cajun, red Hair and lots of attitude. I joined MMC on January 6th of this year; I already have 25k skills (I did chip 2000 of those this past weekend, so I’m not a virgin anymore). I'm a total flirt and a big goober. Natty was the first one I met from MMC. He picked me up as I appeared from the ship.  His first words to me were, "Need help? Ask me anything you want, but I won't give you anything else".  I was slightly taken back because didn't know why I would be asking for anything else to begin with. Now I wish I had asked for money lol.  My favorite saying is "When Can I use a bigger gun?”

I'm always up for a hunt, even if I don't stand a chance. Tp runs can be awesome, and outpost rescue is my fav. Nothing like a challenge.
