Just wanted to know if we could start a thread for Chit Chat during our daily wait at whatever we do to get home and back on the game.  If you dont want the clutter in the forums i understand (just delete the thread).  Just figured i would ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG Ram!  You still haven't had a HoF?   Cry   Hrmmm we'll have to find a way to fix that...

And yes, idle chit chat is fine, so long as it is placed in an appropriate forum catagory...and it seems you picked the right one   Grin

Well i just wanted to say it was nice running with you last night Ram, and nice meeting you Ice.  I am the type of person when i get in a Guild/Society i try the best i can to do for the Guild/Society and others as much as possible.  i will work hard to help as much as possible and get up there cause getting in the top 50 sounds really nice.

One thing i was thinking, last nite when i was asking about Financial goals for the guild, i was thinking what about starting something that people who know they will stay in the Society, will put in on.  Something that can earn money over time for the Society, to help out in buying things for the society as a whole, or Society functions, things of that nature.  I mean i know starting a bank would be way to much, but maybe land, or something of that nature.  You know all the talks about Society uniforms, that would be a great way to pay for it.  If you all ever decide to do holiday functions, or to do recruiting functions.  Just a way to help out, that way its not shoved on coming out of 1 persons pocket.  Maybe i am taking this Virtual world way to into reality, who knows!!!!!!

This is the kind of game i have been looking for, for a long time.  I will never take advantage of anyone financially or rip people off.  I will do my best to make the most fun out of the game and try to get somewhere financially, for me and the guild!!!!!!!

Happy Hunting

Yup, great to meet you. Certainly impressed with your rapid skill gains, and quick grasp of so many matter in the game.

Cheers

We actually do have a couple of ideas that will benefit the whole of the society in place already, if we can reach our goals  Smile  Reaching the one goal of having more skilled members in the main society will help us to reach at least one of those goals, whether we make it into the top 50 most skilled or not. It may actually be to our benefit to fly in under the radar in the future, and staying shy of the top 50 most skilled list, as people will not suspect our society. I would go into more detail, but this particular board is open to the entire public, and I don't wish to disclose the details of what I'm talking about to the general public. (Don't worry, it's nothing incredibly sinister nor is it against the EULA in any way...just look at it as a..... ermmm....suprise attack I guess. lol)  Cool

BTW, it's very nice to have you with us! Most of us are complete EU addicts and enjoy nearly every minute of living out our virtual lives. Unfortunately, rl seems to get in the way sometimes  lol

Just a little tidbit of info:  We also hold society events & such.... not as many as we used to at the moment, partially because we're really trying to get the Cadets up & running at full potential atm.  Clap

What is MiM's current average total skill per head Ice(out of curiosity)? I noticed that some of the members have taken note of my Entropedia thread and uploaded their current skills, but we are still missing over half of the soc, so unless i pm all members individually and wait god knows how long for their reply theres no way of knowing. Take the time to read http://mimilitia.info/index.php?topic=35.0 and considering that we now have pre-requisites to join MiM I feel that this tool should be used for each and every cadet, as a rule, allowing Gick to keep up to date with her troops advancement and showing us, in MiM, when a cadet is ready to move up. Right now, as you know, we have an application pending. If the councillors could click on that avi's entropedia profile we wouldnt need to scratch heads as to who they are and what skills they have etc. If the application is left to time out, the applicant could feel rather put out, especially if they had skilled their ass off for months in the hope of joining MiM in the first place.

I fully understand if the higher skilled members are touchy about showing certain skills and perhaps if people do not wish to disclose to the public theyre ava's intricacies then thats cool, maybe a cap could be put in place for the requirement of using entropedia, say when hit 100k total, its down to the individual if the want to disclose any further info. Personally I'm not that way inclined and am more than willing to share my avatars strengths and weaknesses. that may change in a year and a half, when i hit commando  Evil, but right now its cool.

I keep track of each individual's skill level in Michigan Militia. Most people report skill levels to me once every couple of weeks or so. I'll do another average this weekend and either post it in a more private forum or let everyone know.

I personally don't like using tools such as the one mentioned above, as I do not want my skill levels available to the public. It will be easier, for me anyway, to use things such as the MM & MMC private forum to keep track of such things.

It says right in the society terminal as well to contact a member before applying to the Michigan Militia, so if they refuse to do so, the application doesn't get accepted. We really are not hard to find, some of us have EF accounts, and most of us have accounts here on our forum. In the society information display it gives the addy to the forum, and anyone has the ability to register...not just MM members. If someone honestly wants to join, they'll take the time to find us.  Smile

I dunno about bored...but I'm completely exhausted   Sleep  I've been trying to squeeze too much into a day & not getting enough sleep lately. Only a few more months of school left though then everything should go back to normal.  Cool
