There is a feature on the forum that tries to help prevent spam bots from registering. Unfortunately for us, the spam bots are getting smarter. Time to bring out the whip

The whip?  For you or the spam bot?  LOL!!

I like Chrome's suggestion that joining the forum requires someone to approve the application instead of automatic approval.
Of course that means more work for Ice....  Hence the whip I guess :-)
