Maintaining a postive outlook

I propose a new rule:
Maintain a positive attitude
. We are a society of players brought together specifically to foster new players who desire to gain experience in the game and want to have a positive overall experience in EU. While discussion of bugs and other frustrations of the experience may come up from time to time, we ask that all members avoid constantly complaining about how bad their loots are or what MA did to their clothing with a VU, or why they think the game sucks. See "Save the Drama for your Mama".

I agree Nat. It's completely understandable to be frustrated when things aren't going the way you'd like them to, or to dislike some of the changes that MA makes to EU at times, but constant complaining in the society chat channel does nothing more than tear the society apart and help to put everyone else in a crappy mood. We are here in Entropia to have a good time. We are here in this society to share the fun with friends, old & new, and to help each other out, and share or ask for advice when needed...not to constantly talk about how horrible MindArk is or how crappy EU is.
Entropia Universe is going to constantly change and grow, not everything is always going to go just how we want it, we're not always going to profit or break even on our hunts/mining trips/crafting sprees...these are just simple facts. MindArk is not a charity, it is a business, and they will change this universe as they see fit and/or as they need to. It is up to us all, as a society, to adapt to the changes & find ways to overcome any obstacles, and plain old complaining isn't going to help us get anywhere, and will do nothing less than destroy our society completely.
With our Cadets society's population growth relying mainly on the newest of newbies, we need our more experienced members to be strong, positive leaders. Imagine you had just arrived on Calypso, got invited to a society, and saw nothing but "this game sucks, blah blah blah" in the society chat. Would you stay? And if you did decide to stay in EU, would you stay in a society full of negative people who hate the very game that you're just starting to love? Such an attitude will not help yourself, your Entropian friends, nor your society mates.
If you have a frustration or complaint, which happens to us all at some point, by all means discuss it with society members in a constructive manner. Ask for advice, or work with other members to find a way to counteract or overcome the problem. We simply cannot have a steady stream of non-constructive negativity in the society chat.
